I humbly apologise to Lawro who has now got our last 2 home results spot on.
Yeah.... that’s silly. He did have a good game, though. Pretty much everyone did. No one really stood out (in a good way, because everyone was good), but you probably have to give it to JWP or Romeu for the way we controlled the midfield and the game.
I no longer feel apprehensive when I see Big Vester playing, he is finally living up to his fee.
Romeu looking solid all round AND comfortable on the ball. What happened?!
Apart from should have scored a third against 10 men I can't criticise that performance. Defended better in 2nd half than the first and looked a threat going forward. Everton didn't play that badly, Saints were just tgat much better.
When was the last time Saints had a positive goal difference?
Romeu / Adams MOTM
Nah, our kettle is slow to boil so gives me more of a chance to empty the dishwasher
Probably under Koeman
Great win, made even sweeter that the comments on the Everton forum have gone from:
"Not one of them would get in our XI"
"Ings is their only player worth worrying about - keep him quiet and we win"
To an absolute meltdown: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/...erton-sunday-25-october-14-00.111343/page-205
They have turned on James for only being good when they're winning - Allan and Doucoure also now "not the enforcers we once thought"
F*cking love it - they make us lot look rational!!
ATM......so glad we didn’t sell Vestergaard.

I mean, what the hell? Looks like a table from the 1980's.
Wtf is going on?
A home win with a clean sheet against a team top of the table?! What a bloody brilliant start to the season. COYR
Best team performance I've seen from this side!
Pretty chuffed with that tbh
No chance in a million years to reach the ball. Dangled his leg; studs up, intentionally. Got exactly what it deserved. Ps. Loved the moaning as well. Made him look absolute class.
Strufe! Wouldnt it be wonderful if it ended up, Staying like that come the years end. The Big 6 would deffo like to compete in the super league.. Oh what Man u? Pipe down.. You arent involved in this conversation!
I'm sure these are tears of joy....

Man City are 13th and United 15th.
Plus 1 goals in the table looks good. Vesty seems to have turned into the defender we hoped he'd be. I'm surprised but pleased he's found some form and confidence.
I think Che is fast becoming a vital part of our attacks too.
Happy days as my new team leader is a toffee and I've got a conference call with him first thing tomorrow
