    And this, if Ralph thought he was not offering anything, he wouldn't be on the pitch. Your point is a good one and is exactly what I thought after watching the full match last been night. Considering his lack of decent and prolonged absence from the PL I'm amazed how much effort and passion he brings to us!!

    He looked useful in the few minutes I saw of him yesterday. There's no way Romeu is going 7 more matches without getting booked so he'll get his chance soon. <laugh>

    He only really had the one moment, but he showed a great first touch and movement of the ball at his feet in that moment. Promising. Always hard to judge a player from a couple of glimpses, but for me, that was promising (I never saw that with Big Sam Gallagher as mentioned before and if anyone can be arsed to look it up, I remember someone asking about Carillo when he came in as a sub at half time against Brighton for his debut at home; I think I said something kind like, “he seemed really willing but just didn’t look like a footballer”)

    Walcott’s turn of pace and good feet are going to win a lot of free kicks in JWP territory. For me this team hold their spots. Redmond coming off the bench and scoring is excellent and may he do it again...

    I'm going to call it now. Romeu will get his fifth booking of the season vs. City on Saturday, meaning he (conveniently) misses the Boxing Day game at Fulham. He's then back for West Ham at home.

    He looks a handful but I have to say this. In the pre match warm up they were all taking shots at the temporary goal and his finishing was appalling. He was laughing at himself
