Not at all confident for this one... they play a pressing game that we will find hard to cope with and the sort of attacking prowess to carve our porous defense apart. Can see them winning by a couple of goals. Please let me proven so wrong...
I can't see spurs being any better at the high press than Leicester, and we got a point against them at St Marys. We'd have won that game if we'd played for 90 minutes, and I expect the same to apply here; don't let them bully us and we'll have plenty of opportunities to put this one to bed.
Whatever the result, it will be a good game with both teams wanting to play football the right way. Poch is history and Toby was never really ours so fans should be able to concentrate on cheering Saints on as opposed to giving the oppo stick. Could be a good game for the likes of JWP and Ramirez to step up against their old boss. Gazza should be fine. We know he can do the basics - will be interesting to see how commanding of the area he is tomorrow.
Had a look back at the highlights, from last season's game, and can't believe how many good chances we created and fluffed, whilst they scored from pretty much all they created. Quietly hopeful, borderline confident, of at least one point.
Don't hold your breath...simply a sign of desperation to put any faith in a player that has failed to show any real sign of coming good since joining Saints (& Hull).
