Spurlock's Ramadan Diary 2019

That time of year again where lots of Fasting Bantz takes place, good and bad.

I'm looking forward to sharing my ups n downs with y'all, my mood swings n ****, my culinary plans, weed cravings etc etc

First fast tomorrow, let's do this...30 days and counting

 

We'll post the ribs I'm cooking later.

I expect there’ll be a few posters on here who’ll be seeking cultural enrichment on this thread over the next month mate........one in particular comes to mind.....

 

I don't know how people cope, especially in the middle of summer on a hot barmy day, I'd be passing out if i had to go all day, everyday for 30 days without food and drink (during daylight hours). Maybe when i was younger but not now.

I wonder whether you see Ramadan as something you look forward to or as a chore to be done?? (not sure chore is the right word just couldn't think of another, but you know what I mean).

 

I definitely look forward to it...it smashes me but it does me good.

Do you lose a lot of weight during Ramadan or does the eating late sort of cancel it out?

 

Don't lose much at all due to the eating times being so late and compact. Some people seem to put weight on.
