On a brighter note, there’s been a lot of talk that Solomon could be back as early as this weekend if he gets through training unscathed. With the form of Kulu, Johnson and Werner, a welcomed return if you ask me.

Richarlison out for 4 weeks I hear?

Werner, Son and Kulu as front three then?

Worth asking if Donley might get a look off the bench as a deep-lying forward instead of Maddison's understudy, which is usually how he gets used when he plays

Not even named on the bench. Scarlett is though.

Donley's in the U21 match today

Scarlett is flitting between the first team bench and the U21 starting lineup at the moment, as he starts the big U21 games (such as the FA trophy match with Fleetwood the other day) but is mainly treated as a squad player

Solomon sort of addresses his injury issues.

'sort off' is right. 'Not at all' is probably more accurate though. <laugh>
Bearing in mind it is public knowledge that his absence is largely now due to his political commentary (and public response), this message probably just confuses the issue still further.

I think that it might be both.
He was due back and still didn't play, then something went wrong with the injury.
Could be wrong, but I'm not sure they'd be saying all this **** if he's fine.

He also made 593 career appearances, 358 of which were for us.
Pretty remarkable figures considering none of them were in Europe.
Wonder what he's up to now?

Yeah he played a lot of games for Spurs. Had some bad injuries but still plenty of appearances and even won a trophy with Spurs

I saw a stat the other day that he's still got our most assists in the Premier League: 68.
Son has our current highest at 60. Sheringham and Eriksen have more, but they include other clubs.

...and also exposed Alan ****earse as somebody who should never be the arbiter of who does and doesn't have business acumen

His mouthing off about wanting to only pay Anderton's wages when he was fit somehow didn't land him at an employment tribunal

Turns out that Bentancur's been playing with a broken toe for a few weeks, as he said in an interview with ESPN Argentina

“I broke it two or three weeks ago, but I’m still playing the same. I broke my phalanx. I had to stop for three or four weeks to weld it, and it was impossible. It was before the game against Crystal Palace in training, but here I go, recovering. Once warm up, I forget about it.”
