For those who still needed their 'Not606 fix' the politics and jokes threads have been in full flow with groans a plenty, either directed at another's political views, or another's potentially diabolical joke (some have made me LOL though). All in all, thank God the football is back. I can't believe I'm saying this, and I would have laughed at you if you'd had said this at the end of last season, but I'm quite optimistic about the season ahead given our summer transfers. Yes, Freeman and Smith have gone, two big losses, but we've made some great acquisitions, and if MW is able to get them to gel and play as a team it could be exciting stuff. That said, I've said that a few times in the past few years. I do feel though, with the addition of Mlakar, Barnes, Hugill, Kelly, Wallace, Ball, Amos, Marteson, Barbett, Cameron, Smith and Kane...we have the potential for a very decent starting 11. Please post below predicted line-ups and fancy pictures (preferably football related...) Afraid I'm in deepest darkest Suffolk with limited Internet so apologies for the basic match day thread...I'll be back on with videoes/graphics/more stats next week. Enjoy all those who are making the trip and...COME ON YOU Super Hoopsa!
It is hard to believe that the new season is already about to kick off.So much has happened since the the last match of the last season that I feel quite dizzy and even tired. Plus we will see will see almost a brand new team and definitely a new playing style. I need to renew my QPR+ subscription and look forward to seeing how we will peform. I just believe that we will need to be patient as the team needs to develop, understand each other etc, thus to gel! I think we may play well tomorrow, and even very well in parts, but fear that we will make some inevitable errors, and fear that some may be costly. Let's see what will happen. COYR's!!!
Welcome back to the. Matchday thread Will post some ahem suitable pics tomorrow What's the away colour this year Cheers in advance dave
Great stuff Dave and a very welcome return of the match threads - fingers crossed for many positive posts after a good first away performance of the season Time not being an issue for me on Saturday I've managed to get a return from London to Stoke on London NW trains for £16 without using a railcard - quite a bit cheaper than a Virgin
I know that there was an automatic renewal - although I thought it was set for mid-August. I will now check but thanks for the heads-up. I really appreciate it!
I have just renewed and will enjoy/suffer a full season of watching our team! As tomorrow we will be playing away and in a new strip with virtually totally new players, then it may be a weird experience. I think I will reply a lot on the commentators. For info, my automatic renewal was for mid-August.
So Stoke v R's is predicted as 5th v 17th https://www.skysports.com/football/...sky-sports-readers-predict-championship-table
Grant Hall has been named as Captain, for this game at least. “Grant has been captain during pre-season and I see no reason to change that for the opening game,” he said. “We will then assess the situation over the coming weeks as the squad develops.”
I’m actually surprised how buzzing I am for the start of the season. I’ll be watching the board for highlights from my sun bed here in sunny Mexico. Come on you R’s !!
these girls will be heading up for their first away game if you see them on the train make them feel welcome please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Kiwi, it’s outrageous how you bring the board to the kind of level where women are being objectified for their bodies and are used for mere titilation......this must stop and I for one won’t be looking at them anymore and thinking ‘Gosh, why doesn’t my Mrs go to bed in kit like that instead of her usual thick, flannel pyjamas and grannie pants’ !!!
Says the stoke game is an all ticket match and that no ticket sales on the day. Does that mean we have sold our full allocation
