Ok folks, the deal is done but where to next?

What happens to SD, has he still got a future at the Vic?

What happens to our current squad, where do we need strengthening, who do we lose, get rid of?

and most importantly, possible transfer targets?

Target is to build premiership players, simples. That should at some point get us to the prem, its not going to be interesting to recruit championship potential as the sale prices will not be interesting enough. We have to target being the best developer of talent in the UK bar none within 2 years IMO. Prepare for a lot of fan dissent as we sell some awesome talent in future, this is the biggest threat to success.

It is well known on this island that if you shine at Watford, you will get the opportunity to impress at a Premier League club. For me this takeover is simply about spreading that word beyond this island.

Basically the model is to carry on as we always have. Develop young talent, scout and loan reasonably well, and so on. The only differences are that there will be a higher proportion of foreigners, and that the clubs we do the most business with in the loan market will change.

Let's hope so, we might even make it up and get stability as a lower half prem club. Nosebleed time !

Having read a lot of comments over the past 10 days or so, I seem to be one of the few people who thinks that the Prem is the aim, but in a sustainable way. Yes they will be looking at the academy and youth development, but I can't help thinking that they will be thinking that they can replicate what they did in Spain. The difference here is the money that the Prem generates and the the benefits that that could bring to all three clubs.

I would like to hear something sooner rather than later about the ground.

No idea what the new owners intentions are.....2 possible ways.
1/ All out attack, spend £10-15 million on players recruitment and hope to get promotion and grab the est £90million money that comes with it...
    or
2/ Invest in the accademy, infrastruture and solid players to strengthen the team to become compitative in Championship, and slowly but surely improve.

    guess time will tell
