I'll reserve judgement on Djalo. However this feels like a Khan/Kline signing, so I'm not particularly optimistic.
Whenever a player chooses Turkey over Fulham, I think it's a lucky escape. There is pretty much no reason to make that choice except money and it's short term money at that. Players are far more likely to go on to bigger things from a Championship club than a Turkish one.
Much more important is Cairney's new contract: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2017/july/03/cairneys-new-contract
Get in - best news of the window so far (just as long as there isn't a minimum fee release clause, that would be a worry).
Together with Sesssegnon that really is good news. Just need to sort out Kalas/replacement and striker options.
Terrific - although understand the Captain's concern. For now though, the Gaffer has certainly kept his word in getting the Cairney and Sessegnon signatures. # MakingFulhamGreatAgain
The local paper is saying that Ibrahima Cisse is in London having a medical after we agreed terms with his club Standard Liege. They also put out the reminder that we failed to get him in January when a £2m bid was rejected. Source: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spor.../fulham-target-ibrahima-cisse-london-13293540 The Belgian U21 international is now 23 and is on contract to Liege until 2020. He seems basically to be a central midfielder but hasn't got a lot of form; having played in as many Europa games as he did League ones - 3.
Reports in France suggest Fulham have now met Bordeux €10 million asking price but Rolan is unsure if he wants to drop down a division. Cisse sounds a done deal Kalas deal has gone quiet but I'm still hopeful If we did manage all three of these deals I would be very happy
With Montpelier bringing in new players, there's a strong hint that we'll snatch up centre back William Remy. please log in to view this image The 26 year old is out of contract next summer. Palace were close to taking him in January when Allardyce was keen to bolster his back line.
Would be nice if this rumour was true from an Arsenal friend, that we are interested in one of the Arsenal keepers (Cech, Ospina, Szczensy) as they are interested in Kasper Schmichel. But suspect as well as competition from other clubs, wages will be a issue, unless we push the boat out.
Stories from France say that Rolan is a "big game player", with suggestions that his commitment is patchy. Can't be all that bad though since he's scored 37 in his last three seasons at Bordeaux. He seems to be dragging his feet about joining us however, with L'Equipe saying, "Last night, the two clubs in question were close to reaching a fee agreement of around €10m for the forward. The Championship side have yet to reach an agreement with Rolan, who is hesitating over joining Fulham for the moment." That said, nobody else has put in a bid for him.
Translation: Rolan has noticed how many Fulham targets get sniped by Premier League clubs, and doesn't want to 'marry the first girl'.
One of the players discussed on another thread has gone: John Ruddy has, as expected, joined Wolves. My vote would be Tim Krul as our new keeper, but we'll have to wait and see.
This one hasn't been mentioned, but he could well have been following the departure of Malone. James Husband has joined Norwich from 'Boro. Posting as much because I'm not convinced we're actually looking for a Malone replacement.
Stories around that Khan Jr and Kline are in discussions with his Agent, while the man himself, Diego Rolan, has sloped off to Wimbledon. Looks like he'll get rain'd on. As will we. The Bordeaux chairman says the player is undecided and, as Surlyc alludes, Bauza Adrover his agent is playing games.
This worries me a bit. If he doesn't want to be with us then don't bother with him. We don't need another Mitroglou all over again, even if he does cost less.
