Are all our keepers, keepers though? If a keeper's a keeper then jeeper's creepers we've got a keeper keeper. But if we've signed keepers who aren't keepers then we've not got keeper keepers, so may require more keepers who are keepers to replace the keepers who aren't keepers. Jus' my opinion, like.
So he's not the sort of goalie you would want to watch in a penalty shoot out? Nice to hear he doesn't think he has too many weaknesses. Like anyone else he deserves time to prove himself, say about 4 games. Does anyone else get the feeling there's more to come like this?
I read this comment and thought , that it is his name , what else could it be , 3 attempts later I got it , feel a right tit now
I wouldnt read too much into that stat. He did have 10 players in front of him that also let in 13 goals. So are they all s**t? Very much doubt it. Who was the manager that shipped 13 goals in 4 games? Is he still in charge?
He never got a run with us. Coming in for the odd cup game and starting last season he was usually behind a defence that hadn’t played together or at all recently either. He’s not great with his feet and McLaren insisted on trying to pass out from the back which was a disaster, hence the 13 goals in 4 games including six in a half at West Brom. Nothing against the bloke but I’d be a bit concerned if he was your first choice, which it doesn’t sound like he is. If there’s a Championship goalkeeper in there, we never saw it but we are the best at making players worse so **** knows really. Good luck Matt.
Aren't we just?! Think about some of our players that had **** starts with us and became solid and dependable, Turner and Delaney come to mind.
Our player of the year when we were promoted to the Premier League for the first time ever and our player of the year in our first season in the Premier League, having played every minute of every Premier League game that season (one of only two players to do so). Flogged ridiculously cheaply to Sunderland when we were in danger of going bust and never hit the same heights at any other club.
Yeah I remember seeing Turner for his first couple of games and thinking we should ask for our money back. Went on to be a cracking player for us, scored goals aswell as being great defensively. Never seemed to get over an injury as soon as we sold him.
STOKE CITY are delighted to confirm the signings of Adam Davies, Nick Powell, Lee Gregory, Jordan Cousins and Liam Lindsay. Five at once, lucky buggers.
