Rumour has it, spurs are not flush for cash , so won’t be able to raise the funds for Ings. They want PEH but are trying to do player swaps because of lack of cash.
I have more faith in Danny staying with us than any of the stars that have moved on. Firstly he has already scratched the itch of moving to a big club (which unfortunately turned sour for him), Secondly he has stated how happy he is now many times, he is a striker scoring goals and the fact that he is also a local lad who was a boyhood Saints fan and who has a down to earth, modest personality. A lot could depend on his England chances, if he can get into the squad and be successful with England I think that could go a long way in him deciding to stay here.
Rumour has it he is in talks to pretty well end his career here. A new contract..........Only rumour and hearsay my contact is telling me nothing concrete. Wouldn't that be good.?
Another thing is that Ralph has shown the way with his commitment to the club and that will surely carry the players with him.
Anyway, I'm with Chilcs on this. No need to worry this summer. Lets attack the cups next season and see if we can keep in line with Dannys ambition. He sure is a super saint. Love having him here. Thank you Liverpool.
He’s probably good enough for our level, but top six? Not seen anything to make him stand out, and the fact if the matter is that he’s no better than what they already have.....weird.
He had two serious knee injuries at Liverpool, so I don't think you can say he failed he just didn't have much playing time. My mate who's a Liverpool fan loved him when he did get on the pitch. I think you're right that he would probably prefer to be settled, especially with the euros next summer. If you move club/area you never know what will happen to form and fitness. That said, with our history and an owner looking to sell the club, you never know what might change.
It was only one game, but I thought KWP did quite well vs. Watford. Maybe it was just in stark contrast to how poor Valery was in the previous games If Walker-Peters was solid for the rest of the season I wouldn't be against signing him permanently, but not for £18m.
Strikers you can bet on to score are hard to get...we won’t part with Danny unless he kicks up an almighty stink...and can anyone see him doing that?
I'd be very happy with that. Looks very good and the right age to sell on at decent profit if successfull here. Tella's getting a look in now so could put in a good word. The fact gooners are in meltdown at his departure says enough for me.
