I sincerely hope Ipswich and Wigan do not romp away with the two automatic promotion places this season. If they do, the clearest signal will have been sent to other Clubs; Forget sustainability and all that boring stuff. Just break the bank
I think that signal has already been sent and it continues to be sent. You cannot gain success in football under the current model unless you spend lots of money. I can't see us getting automatic promotion with the squad we have so far, but there is still time, especially if we can get in a few good loans from the prem, in the mould of Gallagher, Cullen etc
that's surprising. he was touted about for L1 and even championship clubs. he's dropped down to non-league
Very very strange. Was L2 player of the year, won promotion with Cambridge scoring a record 34 goals, Cambridge offered him a new deal to play in L1....... and he drops down 2 levels to play non-league football. Can anyone offer any remotely likely reason ?
Love the first 3, not so sure about the last 2 Are Wrexham really that rich then, that they can outbid a number of L1 and possibly a couple of Championship teams ? Blimey if true
Sounds to me like Wrexham are going too far out on a limb. Have we not seen something similar a few years back with Notts County? One tune TS could play at the Valley... Money's too tight to mention Only joshing Thomas - I love you really. I'm a fully paid up Sandgaard Apologist
One is a famous Hollywood celeb, the other wrote and starred in the longest running sitcom of all time, syndicated globally. I think they have enough for the National League.
