It sounds like we're prepared to spend more on a no 10/forward which is the right way to go - lot's of teams will concede a fair amount of goals. It's scoring goals that will keep you in the league.
Yeah but how much more is the issue. There have been a few signings in the league early and majority of them are more than our record signing
I'm ignoring Villa's transfers TBH. Despite what some or our idiotic fans on Twitter might think, we're not competing with them. Leeds signing Aaronson is something we should keep an eye on. That was only just more than our record signing.
We don’t really know who we are competing with yet. There hasn’t really been any indication just yet about the new owners plans. If top 10 is the aim then we are competing with the likes of Villa, if it’s just stay in the league then we won’t be
I see we are also being linked to Tom Laurence too., Seems like we are building a team for a years trime
Id always say that for any team outside the top 6 the plan should always be get to 40 points and then see where we are. First and foremost should always be survival
Even with just one year remaining on his deal, and thus Liverpool having little leverage, that's shockingly cheap.
Wonder why he wants to leave, Liverpool are in a great place right now and winning trophies pretty much every season. Normally you'd assume money but Bayern don't generally pay huge wages. Either way that is bad news for Liverpool, £25m for a player of his quality is nothing. Salah has just a year left too, if he goes for free next summer they will be looking at losing their best 2 forward players for bugger all.
