Delap is good at close quarters and creates his own space by turning or taking a man on. Ohio isn’t blessed with good ball control and won’t be doing that, he strikes me a lot more as the Niasse type battering ram that would be good picking the ball up in space and charging at the defenders on the break, he absolutely is not going to be doing that here, at all.

Fair enough. I thought of Niasse more as the type to get in behind, latching onto through balls and balls over the top, which is also how Ohio has been described and describes himself. Connolly has had success doing similar here, and he also lacks the close-quarters control that our other attackers have.

Those kind of balls too, which only seem to happen when Connolly is playing. Niasse would just get the ball and charge toward the enemy goal like a bull in a china shop, he was so big, fast and strong it caused no end of panic in the defenders who knew they’d get flattened if they didn’t get their challenge right. Ohio playing a similar way would be a real menace I think.

Regardless he looks a lot more old fashioned battering ram centre forward than modern tippy tappy centre piece to me.

He wasn't fit, in his first few cameos for us he was completely ****ed after 20 mins. LR said he wasn't fit and anyone with a set of eyes could tell he wasn't

Not sure on Ohio - maybe as a bit if a punt, but at £1-2 million is it worth it for FFP.

We were strongly linked with Haji Wright before he went to Coventry - imagine having him and Delap as forward options.

I think Connelly and Sharp will be gone in the summer and think we need to try and get Delap and another striker (perhaps Ohio as 3rd choice- if at all). He has nothing but potential at this point so he’s a big risk unless we have 2 reliable strikers in front of him.

Even as late as end of October, Coventry fans were doubting he was a good buy. It's almost like new players should be given a bit of time before they get slagged off.

Few good young players to pick up from Huddersfield when they go down IMO. Would happily sign Rudoni

Are the turncoats now liking Ohio ? Some slaughtered him when he wasn’t fit - don’t jump the gun so quickly and learn to be patient .

I'd sign Ohio based on his Sky Sports interview alone! <laugh>
