https://thisisfutbol.com/2022/07/bl...bowen-rice-soucek-potter-moyes-antonio-zouma/ I thought he'd pissed off to Brentford.
Dimitrios Pelkas is a name that seems to keep cropping up with Turkish sources. Not particularly surprised with his two positions effectively being what was Honeyman’s and the other being currently KLP’s. Has anyone else heard that one? Feel he’s a bit above our level but is very good friends with Acun.
Seems the Roberts interest is genuine He might not have set the PL alight but he'd be a good addition for us. You can't be crap if you've played 50 times in the PL by the time you're 23
It’s a common misconception that he’s purely a forward too. Most the times I’ve seen him he’s either been on the wing or behind a striker. The people who seem to think he’s below our level need to relax a little.
Still don't know why people get upset about this incoming and that outgoing. Sure it is nice to see local players doing well but it is a business and we just pay our money to watch. Chill?
I think like three people play FIFA on here these days, that reference might be lost on a few people.
Hoffenheim would be a really good move for him. Having Kramaric to play off him along with Bruun Larsen and Bebou would work well It shows the level of player we're going for though
I think Tyler Roberts would be a good signing for us. Certainly make us better. If we get Muriqi in it would be a fantastic signing his style is just made for the Championship. I wouldn't be surprised if the rumours we were in for Pelkas were not wrong, hes a left winger so would be KLP replacement. Not a cheap though.
It does, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he chose them. At what point do we admit we're aiming too high? I know it's the complete opposite to the old regime but a middle ground wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
Well, like I said above, we have to try and in many cases we will fail. Every player so far we've signed will improve us, we've cast our net pretty wide and have a lot of back ups in case stuff like this happens. Besiktas signing Tosun, for example, means that one of their strikers will be bumped down the pecking order, so that's kind of a decent way to work. It's been said already, but the final week of the transfer window in Turkey is mental.
Interesting point. I'd say personally, not yet. I'm probably stick it out all summer. There's still a long long time to go and the window doesn't really pick up till August. From what's been said about Turkey, we could see a flurry of arrivals from there in the last week of the window
