Have we ever signed this many players in one transfer window before??? The only one that comes close in terms of numbers that I can think of is the 2001 summer window, the first under Adam Pearson and Brian Little. Incredible stuff.
Feel like this is going to end up like that Leeds one when they told them to stay up and all they did was sell someone.
Maybe I'm being a little critical here but has baz actually brought us any actual transfer news all summer or just been cryptic then claimed he know when we announce somebody?
Might see one or two more come in last minute, but I think they would just be squad players at this point. Would've loved to see another quality defender for starting 11. Oh well, I can't complain. Great transfer window all things considered, and I'm sure it was a learning experience for Acun and co. They'll do even better next time.
Sorry f this has been asked, I've not read any of this thread, but does anyone know how the cost of living increases are liable to affect the war chest, or if the rules for ffp etc are liable to be adjusted to factor it in?
Think he's pretty clued in to be fair from pretty high up, but I also think part of being clued in is that he's sworn to secrecy until the club give him the go ahead to put it out there. So essentially if he says something is happening I believe it but doubt he'll tell us anything of note before the club do... Otherwise he might find himself out of the inner circle
There seems to be a link between Covid and the muscle strains that footy and rugby players have been getting this last year. https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/56/14/818
Commendable recruitment City, a good blend of youth & experience who sound like they want to be part of the rebuilding.
