I bumped into Phil Bardsley in H and M in the metro center near the end of the season when he left. I knew his contract was up and told him I hope he was staying.
He was actually very honest, he said he would love to but he wasn't happy with the contract on offer.
I joked and said are you after a bit more cash like, he said no mate I'm getting on a bit and they are only offering 1 years extension and I need a bit more security.
Very open and honest when he didn't have to disclose anything.
I think Hume is probably being honest in that he has a contract, is happy and probably doesn't want to move, but if an offer comes in that the club accept he will have a choice to make. If its a PL club he may find it too hard to refuse

 

Just read we got an extra £2million for Ross due Saints win, wasn’t aware of that clause.

Boro signed Ayling on a free. I think they’ll do well next season if they don’t lose any of their better players. Latte Lath will score plenty imo
