Where is everyone off to this summer ??
We are off to Cape Verde in a few weeks, never been before but had some good reports from friends. The son is up and away and too cool for us now and the daughter is in her teens so we decided to edge away from the family based entertainment hotels for a change. I cant wait for that airport pint.

Just back from Gran Canaria, which was last minute but really enjoyed the place.

We away to a log cabin with the dog in July, then Barbados in September.

Always fancied Cape Verde mind, looks beautiful.

Still hoping to squeeze a week in Greece somewhere in August like if can bag a last minute week.

We trying to make up for the last few years in one swoop this year.

Had a few cold days down in Great Yarmouth and that's it for us I'm afraid. Poor kids.

We've had three breaks in Scotland this year, spent an interesting hour grave hunting in Dumfries a fortnight ago, our lass is into her geneology.
Off to Lake Garda by train early September, just hope these train unions don't mess it up for us.
Fancy Guernsey next year anybody been?.

Worse places to go mate. Folk see Florida just as a land of theme parks but it’s so much more.

    Big fan personally.

The prices this year are ridiculous, if you have a large family you need a small fortune to book up abroad. We are considering the lakes or may even do Edinburgh and head over to the west coast.

Love Florida, Orlando is so much more than Disney parks. We had some of our best holidays there.

WP Beach is in-between Orlando and Fort Lauderdale and one and half hours north of Miami. Theme park days were done years ago ha.

I’m hoping my brother can come and look after our dad for a couple weeks in September so I can take my lass to Jamaica. It’s my go to place and she’s never been, so another excuse to go back. Would love to try Pakistan for a week, next year. I’ve heard the street food is amazing and a must try.

Was in Costa Rica in Feb, so quiet summer in think, except for a visit to UK end of July, 60th wedding anniversary in my dad's side of the family.

Might book myself in for some sailing lessons, always fancied it not done it yet

TUI app is great for last minute, seeing weeks in Corfu and Kos for £200 mark if can go in next 2-3 weeks.

I usually go with them. Can you get different deals on the app to their website?

Went to Dominican Republic beginning of June. Lakes in August with grandson then Greece or Canaries in October depending what comes up on the TUI app

We were going to try a last minute deal in mid November, we were going to book the weeks holiday in at work and see what comes up a week or 2 beforehand, wife reckons we will make a saving but knowing my luck I will end up with a week in South Shields

Its quite hidden on the app, underneath the main search there’s a ‘last minute’ bit, they don’t seem to come up in a normal search must be separated.

In future may have to look to get away to Canary Islands in the Feb half term but I bet the holiday reps even now have that one sussed.

Just waiting for the bus to pick us up and take us to the airport now having had a great week on Boa Vista. First time I have done all inclusive and I can fully understand the appeal having eaten and drunk everything for the last 7 days. Couldn’t manage two weeks though as I would probably explode.

Heading off to Gran Canaria on our first "family" holiday with the step daughter and her family so I'll probably be at the mercy of the grandson for 10 days! <laugh> Then the wife and I are heading to Tenerife in September for 10 days relaxing on our own

Did a cheeky little week in Malta in May and away to Tenerife in September.

Just had a fab few days in Beverley on the drink. Some fairly decent battle cruisers there.
