Happy with the recruitment so far. Young players with a point to prove. I wouldn’t be against a couple of old heads.
Agreed, I like the model. Some will work out, some might not. However I would like a CDM/CB Championship old hand.
Well that’s it I’m cancelling my season pass Until I get a full written apology from those two ****s Signing all these players early doors ffs I’ve been looking forward to a full month or two of moaning about no signings That’s me done Everyone’s got their line in the sand
It appears the Allams (and Darnborough) have learnt a thing or two about the transfer market since the drop to League 1.
The fact that we are doing free transfers means we don’t have to muck about with transfer fees, which will speed things up a bit.
Williams is a great signing. I guess that confirs we can’t do the deal to get Whyte. I’d guess it’ll be down to his wages at Cardiff.
So Dull Daily suggested that a right-sided defender is top of the shopping list - which must be Randell Williams Thought we were adequately covered in that department with Emmanuel / Coyle, or maybe we're just following the England model of never having too many right backs.
No idea if any of the signings will work out, always a risk signing L1 and L2 players for a champ season, but i'm more than happy to give Darnborough and the recruitment team the benefit of the doubt after who they've brought in in the past 18 months. Ultimately, we're aiming to stay up this year, not win the championship and if the players being brought in are good enough for that, are young enough to increase in value then why not
Well gents not bad business at all we love to see it, @Howdentiger2 was your early comment about early next week signing as talks stalled a bit about Marriot? It followed the Baz Cooper article so just trying to piece it together. Cheers.
