@Smug in Boots might need your assistance next season as I’m desperate to get my boy to a couple of away games!!!
The aim is to get all of the promotions and relegations done by 5th June, which is when the last play-off final (National League) completes
Aye fair do's, I called em dirty fookers yesterday but to be fair they weren't on the day. I suppose you do what you can to get out of this league. Ainsworth, the players and fans were gracious in defeat.
Was surprised with Wycombe yesterday and having thought a bit about it have four reasons for their subdued showing. 1. Our game plan worked to perfection..fast start backed up by the early goal then we just wouldn't let the settle into any rythmn. 2. The Referee..Thought he had a good game didn't fall for their limited antics trying to get Cirkin red carded for his two early infringements second half. 3. Our defence was rock solid, Vokes just couldn't get into the game, even after he benefited from a lucky bounce Patto was out quickly to smother him. 4. AN outmanaged Ainsworth, simple as that.
I think you’re right, and the sheer power of the shot beat the keeper, who was also partially unsighted. The ball was on him before he could blink. A great goal IMO and not a goalie error, tho he’ll think he should’ve saved it. Bart
Ladies n gents. Unfortunately I was travelling yesterday. Unfortunately not to Wembley but to foreign shores. I hope everyone there had a fab day. I hope any SAFC fans who watched wherever they may be in the world had a fab day. From a personal viewpoint can I just say the biggest fkn YEEHAW and get in.
Some weekend. Always nice to get a call from the fraud department from the bank. Just to check that I indeed go my ends. Worth it. Haway the lads.
We really went for it and could have been 2-0 up after 5 minutes That Vokes header was probably the only chance that Wycombe had in the first half
