So that is 12pts in 12 league games.....in fact our last four home games have brought us NO goals for... and eight against for ZILTCH POINTS......that is nailed on relegation form.

At a guess I feel teams might be safe with 50pts....but without checking who other teams are play....and not knowing if some are playing each other it is probably worse that my normal predictions....especially in the last few goes.

Sorry to those that do not like stats...but I do....so stay away from this thread until May 4th as past... and we're safe or relegated.

one would assume Rotherham are already gone, 29 Mar has all my relegation candidates playing non candidates bar QPR v Brum and Sheff Wed v Swans, 1 Apr - Bristol C v Plymouth, Rotherham v Millwall, Stoke v Huddersfield, Sunderland v Blackburn, Swans v QPR wow a very interesting set of fixtures

 

Definitely one or the other at this stage.

 

Or six of one and half a dozen of the other.

I would be surprised if we get anything out of the Norwich & Leicester games.....just need to keep the goals against down....at the moment our goal difference is worth a point in our favour.

tbh mate I think anyone from Sunderland down could face the drop - a lot of 6 pointers up for grabs

 

Winning becomes a way of life....and also losing can also be a way of life....and it can be hard to turn it around at times.....very noticeable under Derek Adams before he got sacked.

 

The game against Stoke which of course is not just about 3pts....but putting one over on Schumacher and the possibility of Stoke being in danger of relegation...is starting to look different.

Stoke with their win at Hull have moved on to 44pts....now three ahead of us......they have on Monday a home game against Huddersfield....which they should win....and that would lift them up to 47pts....and nearer safety....so it is possible that our game at Stoke will be less stress on them than on us and become even more difficult for us.

There are those stating that Hardie should be on the bench on Monday and that Bundu should start....but against Norwich when we where desperate for an equalizer Foster left Bundu on the bench and brought on Waine in the 81st minute....and he had no involvement at all and has rarely trouble any opposition this season.

The failure to bring in a proven scorer during the last two windows is starting to show our lack of choice now that Hardie is finding things difficult and has been over played .....because we haven't had a quality alternative to allow us to rest him earlier in matches... or even give him a game off......last season we had four strikers and would often use all four during 90 minutes.

If we survive the drop this season...it won't be because of Foster and his methods...it will be because of individual moments from a team that has still got some quality players whatever Foster does to them.

 

The game against Stoke is just about 3 points as far as I'm concerned.

 

A lot of people will think differently to that....Schumacher walking away with his coaching staff days before Christmas and the new year games....leaving a big hole and throwing the club into disarray...which points wise has caused a disaster....plus the call back of vital players...which he in one instance has benefitted from will not be forgotten for awhile....despicable in many ways.

Some disappointing result this afternoon.

Huddersfield...1-0...Millwall..........didn't want Huddersfield to win.
QPR...0-2...Sheffield W..........same with Sheffield W.
Blackburn...0-0...Southampton..........wanted Southampton to win.
Stoke...2-2...WBA..........needed WBA to win.

We're only 2pts above a relegation spot.......good job we won last night.
