Hope its a rumour How funny would it be though for him to give another interview stating how Swansea would be a backwards step Fair play he is quality, I just think he's a prick #Justsaying
If anyone wants to pay us daft money for anyone they´re more than welcome, but we´re not going to let anyone with an existing contract go anything approaching cheaply! Manyoo have Jones now, it´d definitely be worth a cheeky enquiry about what centre backs they´d be willing to loan/sell us?
Also; http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...hopes-for-liberty-expansion-91466-28853201/2/ If you go to the second page, the last paragraphs read; I can´t believe we're actually in for Senna! This is class...
There's a lot of good rumours being bandied about, I like the johnny Evans statement, or what about onouha at man city, good times to be a jack One thing that is strange is there doesn't seem to be many bluebuds posting on here anymore. I can't understand why
I agree he looks very good. A young loanee might be the best way to find decent backup for Scotty and Dyer. I'd still like to see us go for Kakuta but how about Sanchez Watt? he looked good at Leeds last season.
Wales online confirms contact between Buck and Senna. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/swansea-city-fc/2011/06/11/marcos-senna-opens-door-to-swans-move-91466-28859122/ But it looks like Senna is saying "thanks, but, no thanks"
Was browsing through a sports news website when I came across a player who would address the possible lack of physical presence in out midfield, experienced in premiership, good player IMO and unsettled at club due to breakdown in contract talks. Kevin Nolan anyone???? Worth a bid??
On a completely different tack my respect for RM went back up - never really went down that much I guess - following his rejection of Villa. Seems like he genuinely was pulled to Wigan on a mission and empathy and might not have gone to any other PL club that offered him at the time. Anyhow was looking at this thread and the names and thinking of the current squad and who we have and who we have confidence in to survive in the PL. Where 0% = no chance, 50% won't disgrace himself , 75% + strong PL peedigree and and 100% = will be a guaranteed PL star day in day out from day 1. My assessment is as follows: GK: DdV 70% (corners!!), YM - who knows? Defence: Rangel 75%, Taylor 70% (size), Tate 50% (hero but now slow and rash), Monk 60% (as AT but better),Williams 90%, Serran 50%, MIdfield: Allen 70%, Britton 60%, Bodde (if fit 90%), Dyer 90%, Orlandi 50%, Gower 50%, Dobbie 75%, Butler 50%, Forwards: Beattie 30%, Moore 40%, Sinclair 90%, Graham 80% NoO-one else scores above 50%. No-one gets a 100% as no-one is already proven. Conclusion - as every other team in the top half of the PL already has at least 6 players who score 80-100% and no-one in the match squad who scores less than 60% we are going into a big unknown, looking a bit lightweight on experience and midfield strength and unless the team continues to be 100% together (and we see them go AWOL sometimes as they did against Reading) they are too reliant on a spine of 4-5 players none of whom are yet proven in the PL. This is no mystery - we either need the side to step up another level - to be fair as they have done in the past or we need 3-4 proven PL players now and in January. So............. we should bite the expense bullet and ONLY be looking at PL clubs from last season for incoming players? N0 exceptions - NO Senna, Boothroyd, no more Championship players, Only PL......Right or wrong?
