Wow what a game......actually when we beat Cardiff 6 years ago.... that today was truly poor. The first half passed as if the team had been smoking joints before hand....so laid back, disjointed and leaderless. A little better after the break when Dhanda replaced an injured Byers scoring a good goal by playing forward. Went ahead through Naughton and any decent team would have made sure of a win but with a poor captain and a rudderless manager what did we expect. Rooney controlled the game for Derby as a proper captain would both on the ball and in the referees face when needed whilst our Marty never once did the same,,,we are nothing more consistent than a m8d table team sorry.....
We lost, Cardiff won in the soccer - Wales lost and England won in the rugby games. My only consolation today is that Leeds lost again - that's how bad it's become.
There's 15 games to go - so that's 45 points up for grabs. On current form we'll end up winning 5, drawing 5 and losing 5. That's just 20 points from 45. We have 46 points at the moment - add the 20 - that's 66. 6th place the last few seasons : 2018 - 19 Derby 74pts 2017 - 18 Derby 75pts 2016 - 17 Fulham 80pts 2015 - 16 Sheff W 74pts 2014 - 15 Ipswich 78pts Anyone think we can pick up 30 points from the last 15 games ? I don't.
With this manager and the distinct lack of consistency azzuriswan says not a chance....and the crowds at home will get lower and lower due to the distinct lack of entertainment sorry
I would question and I think I know the answer would have Cooper made the change with Byer unless he was forced to.Routledge at 34 faded in the second half understandble so but the same old performance which has to come down to the manager and coaches ,. one positive for me is if we keep this squad & manager together for the next 2 years we'll walk league 1
When SC became manager he said he had looked at all the dvds of the Swansea Way and would bring it back.....unfortunatly he must have been watching something else because we are now further away from it than when Bob the Builder was in charge....
In fairness to Cooper , I thought we played well up to their first goal (8 minutes ish) then we looked shell shocked and didn't recover until we equalised , I really thought we'd go on to win comfortably but what do i know ,and more importantly the Manager.
Can’t wait to see the changes for Tuesday a it’s three games in a week.....a fit again Byers ,Grimes, Woodman and Ayers and pick any 7 others ro fill the gaps. Dhanda could be out of the squad for a rest and anyway he runs forward with the ball at his feet.....
