Remember The Cavalier Club, entrance was in between BHS and not suer the shop on the corner or Oxford Street, and it was above that shop. Only ever went there once.
I remember the Cavalier. Went there once, midweek. Bit of a dump. Then went for an egg curry (yes, an egg curry) in an Indian resturant which was located in a row of buildings where the car park by The Pullman is now.
Cavaliers/cavs was indeed in the side of bhs. Small club upstairs and small squares made mirrored wall behind bar a tough crowd had good times there always loads of townhill mates in there on weekends and remember Kenny the doorman ? he owns a big garage i use now .
