Found this little tool posted on WATRB forum, nice one... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm Didn't try it out yet, not enough time now, but have to have a go when get home from work today
**** me....I had us finishing on 35pts and 17th....1pt above Wolves. But we were safe by the last day, being 4 pts ahead of Wolves. City won the league by 1pt from Man Utd!! I hope it ain't as tight as that cos I'm not sure I'll be able to stand it!!!
Oh by the way, the bottom 3 were: 18th - Wolves (34pts) 19th - Blackburn (24pts) 20th - Wigan (19pts). I was probably too hard on Blackburn and Wigan, but I was also pretty pessimistic with our results too!
Wow, I had: 17th: QPR 37 Points 18th: Wolves 35 Points 19th: Blackburn 32 Points 20th: Wigan 27 Points
37 points is deffo enough to avoid the relegation this season. Mind you i get 38 points for us and Wigan 29 ,Wolves 34 and Blackburn 35 go down......
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of West Brom getting sucked in. Their next four games are away at Wolves (local derby), home to Sunderland (in incredible form), at home to Chelsea and away at United. After that they have a better run but if they come out of those four only a point or two above 18th they could panic.
Possibly Wtford but WBA already have points on the board, that is a massive plus, everything else is theory at this stage. I also think Woy has enough to keep the Baggies up
I wouldn't count them out of the equation either despite the current 5 point advantage, their home form is atrocious and most of their remaining away fixtures are tricky to say the least. Much has been said about a team that has had a reasonable first half to the season dropping like a stone - the Baggies could well be that team. I still will not say who, other than Wigan, are for the drop though. Probably still wont know in mid April. It's going to be close between 6 teams I reckon.
These predictors are great and proof, if proof be needed, that magic exists; no matter which club you support, and no matter how pessimistically you score your own clubs results, there are always 3 other clubs who somehow end up with less points than yours. Wonder if it works for p***s length?
Brilliant! We're staying up 15th WBA, -18, 38 pts 16th QPR, -19, 37 pts 17th Bolton, -27, 36 pts 18th Wolves, -25, 35 pts 19th B'burn, -28, 34 pts 20th Wigan, -47, 25 pts Incl. win against Liverpool and draw against Arsenal. It will be squiky bum time after consecutive losses against Spurs and Chelsea, but we'll be fine before putting in a top performance against City away going down narrowly 3-2. United to win the league on 90 pts in front of City on 88 pts.
14th on 43 points wolves wigan blackburn relegated city win titile by 1 point, west brom and stoke sucked in
15th on 35 points. Bolton (18), Wolves(22) and Wigan(33) to go down. Then again, every bet I place goes the other way...
I got 15th QPR 39 points 16th Bolton 35 points 17th West Brom 34 18th Wolves 33 19th Blackburn 32 20th Wigan 30
i had 2 stop im to optimistic i had us 11 clear with 4 to play i know we will be safe but not that safe.
i finished it 16 QPR 38 Pts 39 17 Wolves 38 Pts 32 18 Bolton 38 Pts 28 19 Blackburn 38 Pts 24 20 Wigan 38 Pts 23 as i said b4 this is never going to be that easy.
14 FULHAM -13 40P 15 W/BROM -17 40 16 RANGERS -19 40P 17 WOLVES -21 35P 18 BOLTON -23 33P 19 BLACKBURN -27 31P 20 WIGAN -26 24P so 35 points will be enough just dont want it going to last day
