If by coaching you mean the team bus, maybe. Might be reading into it, but I'm surprised the media didn't really jump on the fact he said there was a takeover that he hoped would go through. I mean, the media have said absolutely **** all about the anti-competition legal action.
True: I’m not sure his words where meant to be that it’s a forgone conclusion. He more or less said he would continue to do the best for the club until a takeover happens. Interestingly he also said he tried to change the style of play because of pressure but originally stuck to what he inherited. Which was rafas defence setup. That the players he inherited suited that. I’ve given him a lot of stick, honestly I have in case you all didn’t notice ha ha. But in reality he has done (in the grand scheme) average ok and we are safe. BUT it’s his attitude towards the fans that grates on me.
I don't think he's done average ok, I think he's done poorly. He's a **** manager and a dreadful tactician. He's way, way out of his depth and completely out of his time. How anyone can look at those players and not think "we should try 4-2-3-1" is beyond me. He deliberately does things to make himself look better, then blames everyone else when it doesn't come off (Gayle in midfield, Hendrick on the pitch, etc.) He's very, very selfish for all this bluster about being a nice guy and could easily have taken the club down if it wasn't for Wilson, Willock, ASM, Almiron and probably Jones. He's taken the overall quality of the squad DOWN in a very short space of time, with dreadful signings like Fraser and Hendrick, and has noticeably made players worse.
Someone please invade the pitch v Sheff Utd and kick the **** out of Steve Bruce. Stamp on his ****ing head.
