    Aye it was but I get it, everyone is just really relieved and excited. They want the PIF to know we don't listen to the outside noise and welcome them. And you know what, it was largely just a bit of fun for the fans. Which has been in short supply the last 14 years. In the eyes of the PL and the perennial offended, god forbid they enjoy themselves eh.

    Oh I am not judging anyone for doing it. I get why people did it. Just not something I would do. I fully subscribe to what you've said though. I'm just glad the fun times might be back for us!

    Nah I know you wouldn't mate. I just think the whole race thing is abused on a daily basis now. If its not that its women's issues, if its not that its LGBTQ+ issues. I long for a normal day not hearing about anyone being offended <laugh> The whole Dave Chappelle special thing is the latest hot topic. There is always ****ing something. ****ing get out there and enjoy your lives instead of whining.

    Yeah I didn't get my tea towel out I have to say. Mind I was impressed with some of ours who went full robe the lot. Some wasn't homemade ****, they'd gone out and bought official attire. Some of them must have spent a bomb. Funny we didn't get hammered when we did the whole berets etc when we signed all those french players. There was no big cultural hoo hah then.
