So, Koren, Chester, Graham, McGregor, Livermore and possibly Aluko all unavailable.
If I hadn't recently logged onto Facebook, I was going to say there is a reason I had forgotten about him! haha.
If Aluko is out I'd go: ---------------Harper Rosie------Faye------Davies-----Figgy Elmo------Meyler----Hudd------Quinn -------------Brady -------------Sagbo
Yeah, I was going to say: ------------Harper-------------- Rosenior--Faye--Davies--Figueroa Elmo---Meyler---Huddlestone--Brady -------------Aluko---------------- -------------Sagbo---------------- Subs: Jakupovic, Bruce, McShane, Boyd, Quinn, Proschwitz, McLean Or if Aluko is out: ------------Harper-------------- Rosenior--Faye--Davies--Figueroa Elmo---Meyler---Huddlestone--Quinn -------------Brady---------------- -------------Sagbo---------------- Subs: Jakupovic, Bruce, McShane, Boyd, Proschwitz, McLean, Jahraldo-Martin ...right down to the bare bones!
This looks to be our best option to me if Aluko and Gedo are injured. Quinn (or Boyd) can do a good job on the LW and should be fresh while Brady deserves time up front IMO.
I'd go with those players but I'd opt for 4-5-1 and just slot Brady in wide left with Quinn, Hudd and Meyler as a central 3 and just try and get as much support to Sagbo as we can. Try and hit them on the break and or from set pieces.
Not a bad idea that actually! Would counter Tottenham's midfield 3 whilst allowing Quinn and Meyler to play in their favoured positions. Only concern would be Sagbo up top on his own. He likes to drift out of position often, which'd give us no one to hold onto it.
BBC says a huge storm will hit the south from Cornwall to Kent on Monday. Wonder what the conditions will be like in London on Sunday??
---------------Harper Rosie------Faye------Davies-----Figgy Elmo------Meyler----Hudd------Quinn-----Brady -------------Sagbo
I would play... ------------------Harper--------------- Rosenior-----Davies-----Faye-----Figueroa Elmo-------Huddleston-----Quinn-----Brady -------Proschwitz---------Sagbo------- At the end of the day, is this not the game to try Prozzy? Anything we get out of this is a bonus, most people will expect us to lose to a good Spurs side. Test his metal, if he's crap, I'll shut up. But if he's up for it, who knows, it certainly won't do any harm. In my honest opinion, I still think we'll be lucky to see him on the bench.
