The grim reaper has called time on Chuckle So now down to the serious stuff, who do you want to take up the challenge, bring back the good times to the mem instill some Rock and Roll and restore Bristol Rovers heart and soul. You have three wishes best Gasheads COR
SOD but unlikely, I don't think he'll be prepared to drop to this low a level. Mark Yates, currently working wonders at Cheltenham but unlikely that the board will pay the compo to release him. Lennie L, Probably not a long term option but good old head, knows the club inside out and could steady us over the short term. Looking like G.J tbh
why would Yates go to an inbred team like Rovers. After all the stick you gave us on Paolo when he became our manager im glad its backfired on you lot after all your gobbing off and the way your scummy fans were when we played you the other week. Yates no chance. I know a good manager for you Maurice Malpas maybe you will get City reject Johnson or Trollope back who did a good job with no money. Problem with you lot is you think your bigger than what you are and you havent even got a football ground - you've no money and a crap team. So its looking up for you and cant wait to stuff you at the County Ground.
as a shrews fan, i would hate to see gary johnson in charge of town!! methinks he could possibly be even worse than buckle!!!!
Bilko just enjoy your success under PDC.Hopefully we will be better prepared to meet you on our next visit to the county ground. Johnson was not a fans favourite when he visited the mem either with Yeovil or the 1982 ers so whilst a good manager who would keep us up perhaps not the one the board would go for.One positive is that he would be more than capable of rebuilding the squad with new additions and the teams confidence. Trollope would be a good choice though however its difficult to come back to a club that let you go and took time to agree a severance package! Lenny Lawrence alongside a manager worked well previously again not sure we have the funds to afford him! Mark Yates is enjoying success at Cheltenham and would be foolish to move until he has gained promo. Steve Bruce is free COR
Uncle,We have a good relationship with the Shrews.Perhaps you will take some of the players that Chuckles saddled us with
Latest odds are as follows....................Ray Graydon there aving a laff ■4/6 – Sean O’Driscoll ■7/2 – Gary Johnson ■5/1 – Mark Robins ■6/1 – Jim Magilton ■7/1 – Iain Dowie ■8/1 – Andy Tillson ■10/1 – Keith Curle ■10/1 – Geraint Williams ■12/1 – Scott McGleish ■14/1 – Ray Graydon
we can take 2 pie sellers, otherwise try gary hackett manager of stourbridge town or the totton manager, anyone has to be better than fizzless buck priority 1 stay in league priority 2 climb the league a massive club like the gas should be capable of storming league 2, ask chris he has been saying it for long enough. anyway i am sure micky adams of vale is your man
