You might be able to keep Carlos Tevez out of the Manchester City team, but you can't keep him out of the headlines. According to the Daily Mail, Tevez is now planning to sue Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness. The striker was left fuming at the former Liverpool manager's comments following the now infamous Champions League match against Bayern Munich when Tevez may - or may not - have refused to come on as a substitute. Souness opined: "I’m in disbelief. How selfish can you get? "Tevez is one bad apple. He can undo all the good work that has been done at City. He’s a disgrace to football. "He epitomises what the man in the street thinks is wrong with modern football. It is totally unacceptable. He’s a football player and he is paid to play." Tevez, who has famously struggled to learn English, seems to have had no trouble comprehending Souness's outburst - and the Mail says he is now "keen to take the matter to court in what would be an unprecedented case against a TV football analyst". The paper adds that Tevez "has received the backing of two leading media specialist QCs this week". Tevez has consistently said that he didn't refuse to play. He was initially fined four weeks' wages by City, but that was reduced to two weeks after intervention from the PFA. MADNESS....MADNESS...MADNESS..MADNESS.
. Tevez has surpassed all negativity I could possibly engage him with, he really is a selfish little ****.
**** it, I'm on Tevez's side. Screw Souness and every other pundit who spouts ****e unchallenged. A nice test case should give the ****ers a shot across the bows. Any chance of Rafa getting Andy Gray to explain what's so wrong with zonal to a court?
too right, it pisses me off so much when they are allowed spout ignorant ****e and then it is taken as gospel by the sheeple.
