"Bar Mark Hughes," Furnandes lamented, "I have a great relationship with all of my former managers. "Neil Warnock still calls and sent a text before the play-off final. "But no, I haven't heard from Mark. "We will play Stoke next season and I'm really looking forward to that game!" --- I think that will be a popular opinion with the fans! Nice to see Warnock still keeps in touch.
He could just as truthfully have said that barring Neil Warnock he has a lousy relationship with all of his previous managers...... There were only two of them after all....
He actually said he had invited Colin to the game on Saturday, although he couldn't make it. Sounds like they did have a very good relationship, it was just that the results at the time meant that a change really needed to be made. In a way, it's a shame what then happened, because Sparky thinks the team stayed up because of him, rather than in spite of his presence.
The full interview is on the podcast and is quite amusing. Amit sat in the stands and not the directors box because he didn't want to wear a suit. Does any other club have owners and directors as cool as ours?
Tryspin, agree TF deserves some of the blame, but he openly admits he was naive. Hughes took advantage of his naivety !!! I mean buying Green, then soon afterwards buying Cesar !! ffs Boswanker was always going to be a failure, you could see it from his last days at Chelsea; he didnt give a fork.
