Money oriented people think that everything depends on big spending. Let's accept the challenge and prove them wrong.
You won't hear complaints from me should we fail to spend the sort of money that these people advocate laying out even if we do go back down. Fulham have splashed out reportedly £100 million and survived one season. If we can create the kind of atmosphere that has been evident both home and away this season then I think we can spring a surprise or two, quite probably in the seventh minute of injury time but that will do. Personally I will make an effort to get to a few away games and support the team. Let's show the Flash Harrys what a little irrelevant club can do!
Fulham didn't even survive 1 season, but there's no chance we will spent that sort of money thankfully.

Yep, you nailed it dude - it's all about money. Team spirit, togetherness, work rate, playing style, individual flair, management tactics, none of those matter a flying **** do they - asshole . [Why do I put myself through the mill by reading this uninformed, amateur, clueless, shoddy dirge? ] https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/t...james-maddison-over-one-particular-attribute/
Yes, I fell into the same trap earlier, Cromer. It's compounded because the blogs cut and paste from each other so the same garbage gets recirculated. It actually becomes an incentive to succeed for me. We can do it without big spending. Edit: Have now read this article about Buendia which sums up the grounded motivation in this side: https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwi...ndia-looking-forward-premier-league-1-6058539 In various ways the whole team reflect this, backed up by a motivational coach and his staff. That gives me more confidence that we'll get there without blowing the money. SW will also see to that!
And it's not as if throwing money at it guarantees success, as Fulham have shown. At least if you go down without having incurred massive debts you are in a sound financial position to start again.
For those who are interested City are off to Germany again pre-season (July 12) to play 3 games flying back July 20th so not too long before the boys are back in action. Good article summing up Buendia's season: https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/norwich-city-report-card-emi-buendia-1-6070391 He really is an all round player with outstanding potential, as is summed up here: "His willingness to battle back - averaging a league high of 4.7 attempted tackles per game - soon ensured the summer signing was one of the first names on the team sheet. The ability to find space, to use both feet, to squeeze a pass through defensive lines and natural inclination to get on the front foot ensured Buendia was a fan favourite by the time he dropped a shoulder and blasted the winner against Swansea at home in March."
