Great article and it's the sort of attitude that made us champions and will carry us forward into the PL. I liked this bit from Tom: "We've produced in so many games at the end because we do not play desperate long balls, we continue to play our combination and attack football until the opponent gets tired. Daniel Farke consistently pulls his philosophy through. That means attacking, lots of possession and always trying to make the game. He has a good eye for players who fit." That has been the key, and why young players like Lewis, Aarons, Cantwell and Godfrey have been accelerated into the first team - they fit. That's also true of the skills throughout the squad and why whoever plays fits and performs. That's why DF wants Rhodes, because he fits. The trick now is to bring in 3-4 more players who will also fit. https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-tom-trybull-premier-league-attitude-1-6073736
Welcome to the PL board fellas, I used to live near Norwich and have been to your ground a few times although that was many years ago.
I'm liking the Ralph Steadman avatar pic - I used to work for Oddbins in Norwich and we used Steadman for price lists, staff t-shirts etc for many years And thanks for the welcome - got a far better feeling about this one than the last under Alex Neil.
I lived in East Anglia for about 5 years and went to the Norwich v Ipswich games at both grounds which was an experience.
Welcome back Norwich. Was surprised and impressed with your promotion. This virgin VAR season is sure to be fun! And stressful!
How convenient!!! You've had a lot going on, with getting engaged etc. If Dunc makes it up for our pre-season game around 3rd Aug and you're in the Queen of Iceni, I'll buy you a or two!!
Sorry if posted elsewhere but this makes jolly breakfast time reading - especially if you're not a fan of Chris Wilder. https://www.mediareferee.com/2019/0...-predictions-for-the-newly-promoted-pl-teams/
Onel Hernandez has become engaged: https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/norwich-city-winger-onel-hernandez-gets-engaged-1-6082570 Pretty classy way to do it out in Bali.
Tim Krul has signed a new 3 year contract. Not sure what to make of that one, hopefully it’s as number 2 and allows us to get some money for him if we decide to sell
