I don't think so. SW and DF both rate him and have said that we won't be spending big money on the likes of Mignolet or Hart. We may sign a young keeper with potential like Mair who was at CR a few weeks ago but it seems our priorities are elsewhere. Krul is an important leader for our young defence and he is experienced in the PL.
Agree totally. Krul has been a central part of the promotion push. He has made errors it's true but I think that he has more than made up for them.
Not long until the new Premier league fixtures are announced on 13th June, who would you like to see City play : On the Opening Day of the Season At Christmas/New Year At the run-in/last day
I’m just not sure he’s good enough for PL, don’t get me wrong I think he had a good season just gone, but I thought this was somewhere where we would invest. Who’s Mair RER?
I think it's this rumour: https://www.footballinsider247.com/...ign-aberdeen-player-after-hes-given-vip-tour/ 18 year old 'keeper at Aberdeen, highly rated but didn't make any appearances for Aberdeen last season. Out of contract this summer, so if it's been agreed he'd presumably be announced at the end of the month. Not sure he'll be ready to challenge Krul for a while, wouldn't be surprised if he's straight out on loan with a concrete plan for his development.
I think it was Andrew Mair ( just seen DH's post that it's Archie Mair) a young keeper from Scotland. He had the full tour around CR and Colney but it's all gone quiet since. Edit: Well done DH for digging out the article on him.
I don't have a problem with Krul being our #1 next season, he clearly has the full backing of the club so I don't think he'll be usurped outright before the season starts. Only injury prevents him starting the first game of the season IMO. The concern therefore is McGovern as #2, and I don't think the club intend for that to be the case. My guess is an overseas signing with a good rep in the second tier, who shows the talent to step up within a season or so.
And he's clearly delighted to have extended his contract and to have been such a big part of lat season's brilliant achievements https://www.teamtalk.com/news/tim-krul-sends-message-to-norwich-as-he-signs-new-canaries-deal
Great to see Krul and Klose commit themselves to this "special club". Their experience and quality will be vital next season and both clearly love being here. Good work by the club to secure their services ongoing too. OTBC.
In the absence of news... Kit design theory doing the round online is that we could be in for diagonal stripes or perhaps the faint jagged lightning design seen in the background of Patrick Roberts' announcement... please log in to view this image

Nice work from the Hammers, releasing their new shirt with an option to buy it without their betting sponsor on the front. I believe you pay a bit extra for the privilege but it does looks good. I'm not as bothered as some about betting sponsors but I'll be impressed if Norwich come up with a similar policy. please log in to view this image
I would be nice to see the classic Norwich blue and white striped away kit , Buendia would probably prefer the Argentine look rather than Brazilian look home. New Errea 2019/20 kits leaked ^^^
Reading the article carefully, it seems that the €5m includes the €1.5m we paid up front, which is around £4.4m. If true, that's still a bargain IMO.
Current PL survival odds: Sheffield Utd - 4/6 Norwich - 10/11 Aston Villa - 9/5 Burnley - 2/1 Brighton - 2/1
