Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong, now at Russian Premier League club FC Ufa, on Twitter: "I honestly think Liverpool need me. Hit me up on my email Brendan - [email protected]." (BBC Football Live) It's amazing how 'Pool manage to extract such loyalty from players. Shame that PingPong doesn't actually play for 'Pool. I hope his club sack the treacherous bastard.
Okay. I'll give him that one. But what about his boast that "I can't wait to help us be successful!" That'd a bit presumptuous.
Heads up... Goughy and Durham are, at this very moment, doing a special on "the problems at 'Pool," on TalkSport. Knowing these two intellectual heavy-weights, they'll be casting an unbiased and free-ranging eye over the entire topic, and will reach conclusions that are neither sensationalistic nor trite.
"Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is lining up Norwich keeper John Ruddy, 28, as a replacement for dropped Belgian custodian Simon Mignolet, 26." (Daily Star) Still signing the "big names," I see.
Norwich once beat Bayern Munich in Germany dontcha know! John Ruddy didnt play, dont think he was born but you can see brendans thinking.
Have you seen how the BBC are reporting 'Pool's win against Swansea? "Now, only 5 points off top 4!" Will they never stop with the propaganda! It's like a ****ing sledgehammer! Top 4, my arse! Why don't they write, instead, "only three points behind the mighty Spurs juggernaut?" Answer: the media couldn't give a toss about Spurs, and only see everything from the perspective of the fantasy that 'Pool will, one day, reclaim their seat at the mythical "Top 4 table." It would be hysterically funny, if only it wasn't so utterly pathetic!
1 January 2015 A couple of Lawro's predictions... 'Pool 2 v 0 Leicester (the match actually finished 2-2) Spurs 0 v 2 Chavs (the match actually finished 5-3) As ever, it's nothing more than delusional wishful-thinking from the 'Pool legend and latter-day media tramp.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "We missed an opportunity at 2-0 up but I can't be too disappointed. We didn't play well and Leicester did, so a point was about right. "We've got seven points out of nine, and that keeps us moving forward. "We said at half-time it was still a dangerous game and once they got momentum they continued to play well. "We didn't create enough in the final third to warrant three points." FFS you are playing Leicester @ Home who you have beaten 3-1 away and they are moving forward. Beggars belief
Rodgers is, quite clearly, as clueless as Hodgson was, and yet the Mousers are not prepared to let him "walk alone." Mind you, I think the time is fast approaching when they will cut him loose.
Just been reading some of the comments over on the Mousers' board, following the not-so-shocking news that Slippy G will be leaving LFC at the end of the season. **** me! The way some of them are carrying on, you'd think Princess Diana had died a second time!
I agree, he's certainly on this ice. As fans we don't want to hear this crap most fans lay the blame firmly at the managers door, imo we have a very good squad it's the team selection that is the issue.
"Liverpool's top-four challenge gathers pace as they claim a third win in four league games by beating 10-man Sunderland." Saints, Spurs, and Arsenal (all of whom are above 'Pool) have yet to play. Plus, West Ham are (as I write this) 1 nil up against Swansea, and if they win today they, too, will be above 'Pool. And yet 'Pool's "top 4 challenge gathers pace." Words cannot describe just how sick I am of the Mouser propaganda ****e that the BBC continually pumps out.
Not a HIAG WUM this time. It's not just the Beeb, both Sky and BT seem to be overflowing with obviously biased ex-mouser opinion.
For example, I've offered to write a sports blog on 'Pool's title challenge campaign, this season. I believe the public can be enriched by my extensive knowledge of 'Pool and Mouser culture. That's not wumming.
