I'm hard but fair, NSS. That's my style. Is it my fault that the Mouser's delusional nature prevents him from accepting my brand of constructive criticism? No, obviously not.
"Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says his side have "regained their identity" following the 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday." (BBC Football website) Wait until you play a decent side before you start gobbing off again! Also, I noted how, according to the BBC, "LFC gained three points against Villa," whereas Sunderland were "sunk by a late Spurs winner." It's not even subtle!
Sterling has refused to accept £75,000 per week to sign a new deal with 'Pool. I'm not sure what Slippy gets each week, but I bet Sterling is thinking to himself, "I'm better than that swamp-donkey, so I want at least what he gets." The reason why I bring this up is because it proves to Mousers that players go to 'Pool, not believing that they will win any honours, but because they believe they are in for a bumper pay-day. Sterling was on good wages, but he wants to squeeze even more out of them. Never mind. When LFC cave-in on this, Sterling will be back to kissing the badge.
Saints v 'Pool... Anyone doubting the fact that the FA want 'Pool to be back in the "top 4" so desperately that they are prepared to get their refs to cheat for them, should be forced to watch that first half again! I refuse to believe that a ref can be that incompetent; it's far easier to accept that he is determined to ensure that 'Pool win. Utterly dreadful reffing!
I'm surprised the 4th official has given 4 mins of injury time! At 0-2, the ref has done 'Pool's job for them, so what's the point in stringing this out?
I don't think there will be any shifting of power from Spurs back to 'Pool (last season was a freak), but I could be wrong. Sometimes that does happen, Ozzie.
I think the decision against the keeper could have gone either way. No doubt his arms were outside the box. Another day, another ref, and he's off!....
'Pool 1 v 1 £ity £ity get the equalizer they deserved, as they've been all over 'Pool list a bad rash, ever since 'Pool got their lucky goal. £ity should go on to win this quite easily, now.
I think the tempo of the game is brilliant and it is partly because Manchester City have gone with two strikers, as if to say 'we are better than you'. If it had been just one striker the tempo would be lacking. (commentary on BBC Football website) There's no "as if to say" about it, pal!
Well, it's certainly a much closer match than I was expecting. 'Pool actually look like they are trying to win this one.
