Had a nice winner in the tennis last night, Del Potro coming from two sets down and saving two match points was incredible. Got Stephens to win the women's at 33/1 last week

Glad to see the back of international football.

Carnage in the goal markets again last night.
Seven of the nine Euro qualifiers were 0-0 at half time.

How are the Frankel's kids getting on @Royston ? I have not been keeping track.

I do fancy Eminent in the Irish Champion Stakes this Saturday... I know he is up against Churchill but just have a feeling and at 9/2 far better value than Church

Very well - Frankel has already sired a G1 winner in Japan I think and multiple G2 winners across the globe, including Cracksman here. We are definitely looking at the next Saddlers Wells / Gailieo if the horse stays healthy.

Here is a question for you @AllHellLetLoose - to mate with Frankel currently costs £125,000 a pop - regardless of whether the bunk up is successful.

Do you think @baraettmattesvensson charges similar after a meal in the Toby Carvery ?

I understand that @baraettmattesvensson offered the Chip Shop sort £125,000 for a pop .... turns out the Chip Shop sort is a FILF rather than a MILF and so the £125k was wasted

The problem for punters is that all of Frankel's progeny - particularly unraced ones - go off at ridiculous prices. The filly at Kempton on Monday night went off at 5/6 and came second, after the trainer made a lot of hyperbolic noise about her in the media.

Eminent can't beat Cracksman on all known form.
The only thing that can stop Cracksman is if I back it.

Cracksman will go for the Prix Niel the following day at Chantilly. Gosden has said that was the plan, as the Niel is a group 2 and so won't have the group 1 penalty when he starts off next season (all about next season for him, anything this season is a bonus)
Thought he was mightily impressive myself at York couple weeks back. I'd have a crack at the Arc this year, whats the guarantee he will be still racing in a years time, considering the fragility of horses!

The HR forum on not606 is very decent, some good posters, good tips if there's any really into their Horse Racing on here <ok>

    Defoe is trained by Varian

I do like the double, Stradavarius for me in the St Leger & Enable looks a penalty kick in the Arc.
