Orgi by all accounts will be off to AC Milan this summer on a freebie. Although a bit part player for us in the main he walks away with some precious medals and memories. When all this is over and we speak of the klopp era Origi for me will be spoken of in the same breath as sadio Bobby and mo. Some proper iconic moments. The Everton goal The winner in the cl final vs spurs And of course... corner taken quickly A thread of all his crucial goals. Cult hero, cheers bigman and good luck to you
He should really have done more with his career given his attributes and potential but when called upon he’s delivered for us. Not good enough to be a starter but there were worse 4th choice forwards out there. Never once moaned about game time in public, never seems to spit his dummy out. Just got on with it and when called upon did his best. Some key goals for us, the Barca one from the corner, CL final and loved a goal v everton. Will be fondly remembered if and when he does move and hope he does well if he does end up going to Milan.
Just looking through that twitter thread, I honestly can't pick my favourite between the Everton / Pickford goal or the corner taken quickly one. Just gonna call it a tie
Out of all the midtable ability level players we've ever had. Origi is the most important and impactful since Igor Biscan and Smicer made the fields lukewarm.
With his natural attributes he should have been a top player but he never seemed to have the drive / determination to make the most of them week in week out . He sure liked a big game though and our neighbours will be glad to see the back of him .
I officially appreciate <div name='origi' id='origi27' style='width=100%;height=100%; background-color=#ff0000;color=#ffffff' />
Will be remembered as a (perhaps minor-middling) legend of the club in his own way. Obviously not in the same way as Salah et al out of the current crop who will be looked back on as true greats and legends in that way, but because of the decisive moments and goals he provided at critical moments, which we all know and have enjoyed. He's a player who has always shown desire and full effort when called on despite limited opportunities and there's never been any noise or complaining coming out of him or his people about his role and situation at the club which is refreshing and all to his credit. Not the most capable player, sure, but a player who tried and applied himself when given the chance and when it mattered and who clearly kept working behind the scenes. He deserves the medals for all the things we've won whilst he's been with us as much as the regulars. Hope he plays a lot more at AC Milan and has much success in Italy. Cheers Big Div and buon viaggio!
Origi is like a modern day fairclough who was remember in song for what (others can confirm) May well have been far less contribution than origi has made over time. Fairclough's gaol v St etienne ithink? V Barca goals Inc. winner. Everton embarrassment of pickshite and klopp pitch invasion Second goal in cl final to start the party.
