So after dismal performances against Bournemouth, Brentford and Watford, City now face an tough run of fixtures and all appears bleak, despite the FA Cup triumph against Colchester. But can Slade get this team, which should be doing so much better, performing? Fulham are making an equally clueless effort for a straight return to the top flight and of all the fixtures this January, this appears to be the best bet for three points. Could we argue this is must win?
Sheepy - Fulham were bottom 3 and we were mid-table when we beat Forest for Slade's first game - look at the table now. We're still mid table and although Symons has had a few iffy games in charge, they're not that far behind us. I'm going to hold off predicting this one in case Slade gets Bale on loan...... (if he does, I might go for the draw )
Agree this won't be an easy game Sparks but Norwich, Boro and Derby are all ahead of us and if we continue to play like we have been, I reckon our best bet is Fulham. Derby and Boro are just much better than us and we havn't won at Carrow Road in eons. The trip to Boro will now be on a Tuesday probably thanks to the FA Cup which will be make it tougher as well. Keep your fingers crossed for Bale Sparky....
I have no idea what the score will be!! Ever the optimist i'll go with 3-1 city and hope we put in a performance! Jones with a goal. thanks
hi sheep Cardiff 2-2 Fulham > whitts thats from my previous block can i do some more please: Norwich v Cardiff 2-1 jones Middlesbrough v Cardiff 1-1 noone Cardiff v Derby 2-0 le fondre
I'm hoping that Slade has finally caught on to the fact that 4 4 2 is not the long term solution, especially with these players. I'm going for 2-1with whits scoring.
BLUUUUUUUUUEEEEEBIIIIIRRRRDDDSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! 2-1 City please Mr Sheep Would like to retract my original prediction.. Now I know colour changes nothing, but it will get the fans backing the team a lot more.
