Oh dear I hope you didn't find a stream mate. A bad night for your people. Khan doing what mussies do and shìt his pants. A sorry state of affairs.
He's still very young, but he can't trade punches like that with Joe Joyce when they meet later in the year. Joyce is the slowest man in the world, but that'll suit him down to the ground. Strange one really, as a loss would virtually end Joyce's career. Dubois could recover.
Literally just watched this as I was waiting for MotD - don't like that he is taking those kind of shots. Everyone has a punch counter and his will be met sooner rather then later at this rate. Hopefully he will make me eat my words but I say he should have stuck with amateur boxing and gained more experience as he goes for an Olympic medal.
So Joshua will now fight an enchilada eating machine that has already lost to Joseph Parker? ... that should have the fans queuing overnight for tickets
This fight is not for us - Ruiz Jr is an American name that will interest the Yanks and mostly likely will be a boring points victory.
Heavyweight boxing is a joke one minute they get you thinking the division is improving, then..... Andy Ruiz Jnr ffs, what a load of ****e
It’s got loads of potentially good fights but nobody seems to want to make them, all the promoters desperate to avoid their cash cow going to slaughter.
The thing is say if Fury beats Joshua on points after a boring fight, that doesn’t mean AJ is finished, these boxers can afford to lose one or two fights and still stay at the top as box office fighters.
Everyone's reaction to Fury's hypocritical nature pisses me off - he said that money does not interest him, only the big fights then signs a massive deal with ESPN that pretty much stops any big fights happening but no one is calling him out on it. He could easily have made himself the hottest commodity by being a "free agent" but sold out and gets no flak about it.
All boxers are the same, money talks. ESPN will just outbid any competitor in a purse bid anyway so the fights will still happen, they’ll just take longer to arrange.
Tyson's next fight is against the WBO Intercontinental heavyweight champion Tom Schwarz - in case you thought that only Joshua was slumming it.
Why would I think that? Joshua lost his legitimate opponent to a drugs ban. He’ll end up fighting Whyte again next though, and hopefully get KO’d.
Joshua had a decent fight lined up, not his fault the opponent was a dope fiend. With the entire point of the fight being in Vegas was to gain him audience in the States, so the potential replacements were limited, as they had to appeal to the US audience & the prime opponent i.e. Wilder, wasn’t available.
