    Lapland’s usually quiet around December.
    Very reasonably priced too.

Must admit that one was on my mind as it's a City I've wanted to do for a while, think they have a decent Christmas market too?

That second bit crossed my mind too though admittedly!

Yeah I’m up here now as the missus is at a conference in Newquay, so I’ve taken the dog for a walk along the beach.

Just having some fish n chips in the pub next to the car park <ok>

Place called Nazare in Portugal. Water comes out of a really deep undersea canyon so it has tons of power and is forced upwards as it hits the shallows.

    Mental surf break.

Some blokes live for that ****. There's a mate of mine called Tom Lowe who goes around the world chasing big waves, he's like the sweetest quietest bloke out of the water. But he's got Cajones the size of ****ing melons with some of the waves he takes on.

I nearly drowned in Ireland around 10 years ago surfing some mental reef break at a place called crab island. Way overestimated my abilities and took the ****ing beating of my life. I honestly thought I was a gonna, I got held down and dragged over the reef and kept taking more waves on the head. Somehow it washed me up onto the rocks and I found the strength to clamber out.

    Scariest moment of my life.

That wasn't what I was thinking at the time.

Remember thinking that it would really **** up the boys surf trip if I drowned though <laugh>

I'm actually shocked how good it was. I was expecting a decent movie not a piece of art.
