EV’s are a short term solution and I agree with you that Hybrids are best option as most people commute less than 30 miles by car.
Lots of the hybrids sold here are pointless in any environmental equation . weirdly EV's are really cheap to lease on motability plus i've just spotted this When you choose to lease an electric car through the Motability Scheme not only do you get the same all-inclusive, worry-free package of insurance, servicing, maintenance, breakdown cover, but we also help provide a charging option. If you have off street parking we will install a standard home chargepoint at no extra cost. If you don’t have off-street parking, or you’re not able to have a home chargepoint installed, we will provide access to the BP Pulse Polar Network*.
A work colleague of mine called Jason text me his new number earlier my reply was. I know 2 Jason's, one is my friend Jason Phillips the other is some dickhead from work, which one are you?
I genuinely think @Libby should be banned by @brb until he watches goodfellas. I mean how do you live (approx) 30 years of life and not see that movie. Im fukin disgusted myself like, i don't know about anyone else.
I don't tend to watch films full stop mate. Reckon I've seen probably only a handful of new films in the last 3/4 years and we've had a pandemic in that time. Just looked it up and it's 2 n half hours long. That's a lot of commitment and effort required tbh. Might do one day but not arsed in slightest if I don't.
I've got the book it was based on though thinking about it so I'll just read that instead when I next start one. It'll probably be better anyway I imagine.
That's a common misconception imo, plenty of good books have became good films and if done well then it's great to see books brought to life on the screen.
