WOW,that's a well stocked bar!! No white Rioja though so I'll pass this year... P.S,I've never heard of Filey Bay Malt Whisky? Marks out of 10?
https://www.spiritofyorkshire.com/ Distilled in Hunmanby near Filey bay, very nice whisky 46% ABV but fairly pricey (£55), would definitely recommend the guided tour around the distillery. I won't mark it out of 10 as am no whisky expert

Xmas here in Vietnam is largely a non-event, though there are quite a few Catholics here, so it is celebrated. Xmas day is a working day though, so it's a case of making the most of it. Nevertheless, I have already got up 2 Xmas trees well adorned with flashing lights, which is attracting quite a few passers buy with kids having a look. Have a BBQ chicken ordered for Xmas day, so will do roast spuds, broccoli, pity no sprouts, I love sprouts, are will make a curry sauce as no gravy, unfortunately. However, I have booked a hotel on the coast for over New Year for 5 nights, $110 for the 5 nights including breakfast, so what's not to like?
In the grand scheme of things seventeen light-years is close. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I like Filey whisky. Slightly unusual taste at first, almost aniseedy but only a slight hint somewhere in the background. Not smoky, a bit of fruit in the flavour It was a gift but I’ll buy it again for sure. Like others I don’t think marks out of ten work for whisky. You either like it or you don’t and that even depends on lots of other factors. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a really smoky one like Lagavulin but sometimes fancy something sweeter.
Dear God, people actually put curry sauce on their Christmas Dinner? Turkey, I like a big leg. Sprouts are a must have, otherwise, there's no point at all. Brocoli, carrots and asparagus. Roasties, mash, and although not traditional, YORKSHIRES. Real Gravy and me not doing the pots, as if that's ever going to happen Merry Christmas to all
I was thinking of getting my Dad a pair of Enchroma glasses for Colour Blindness. Has anyone any feedback....?
