Huge credit for Hales in sticking in there. But I'm saying that Rashid's innings was more important. He was the only one who could play spin. Hales was something of a beneficiary of Stokes' dreadful captaincy and dropped catch (I think the latter was the only boundary which Hales scored vs spin). The innings was on life support when Rashid came in. Superchargers had it won.
Yes, if Stokes holds that catch it’s game over, no question. Rashid Khan was the difference, which makes it even stranger that Parkinson didn’t bowl instead of Willey.
