Maxi looks good in England colours
Greece Scotland and Poland up next
Aarons, Skipp and Nketiah were the only ones to emerge from that with any semblance of credit. There'll have to be a huge improvement if we are going to finish anywhere other than bottom of the group.
Handley starts in the centre of a back 3
Placheta on the bench the Greek boy not named in the squad
Hanley scores for Scotland
Just watched the highlights of Finland v Bosnia H last night. Teemu's second, running all the way through from the half way line before scoring was something to see. The Finnish commentator got a little bit carried away:
That's probably his head knock keeping him side-lined for the first game ???
Yes, I watched the game live and both of Teemu's goals were excellent. For the first he cleverly anticipated the cross back into the box then volleyed it hard into the goal. His breakaway for the second was also class as he shifted his run to lose the defender and then shoot past the keeper. Classic Pukki.
Hanley's goal against Scotland was also excellent, showing his power and pace (video halfway down the page):
Krul kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win.
Zero shots to save but that's not important
Giannoulis came on for the last 30 mins as Greece beat Honduras 2-1
Max and Todd on the bench for U21s.
Saw that, surprised Max was left out
Handley starts for Scotland McLean on the bench.
Cuba play later tonight
Pukki scores a pen. 1-1 now.
You beat me, Rick.
That was Finland's only shot on target talk about clinical
Finland's goal was down to Teemu's defensive pressure. He doesn't get enough credit for that.
Portugal u21s 2-0 up Aarons and Cantwell unused subs Skipp plays 90
