    Not a bad attendance last night. Only a bit more than Lincoln are getting (average) this season but I wonder how many Lincoln would get if they had a free gate, although a silly question as we only have a 10k ground.

    Two huge games coming up for Eastleigh as they play 2nd and 3rd in the table in their next two league games.

    Could be a season-defining moment for the club.

    The fairytale story of a multi-millionaire pumping £5m into a team, paying way over the odds for journeymen players & manager and not playing any local lads.

    Just a glorified Man City in the Conference (or whatever it's called these days).

    Did I ever tell you about my trip to Eastleigh? They asked for requests for music to be played over the tannoy... I requested Boys of Summer by Don Henley. They played it, got some amusing comments as a result. Shame they cut out like the last verse to sing happy birthday to some kid. But still... so I have a soft spot for Eastleigh as a result.

    Saying that I've gotten two songs I've requested played over the tannoy at Fratton Park. Just need to worm my way into the trust of the tannoy announcer so I can convince him to play B*Witched before kick-off. Mwhaha.

    Forget about Eastleigh and get yourself down to the city of Southampton's second club, Sholing FC, on November 5th for free entry to the crunch match with Brockenhurst, Saints don't play until the 6th.

    That is an interesting tie... half of my family are from Swindon so definitely keep an eye on that. Who did the blue few get? And when are ties being played.

    I spent the first 4 years of my life in Eastleigh (in Shirley road maybe?) must be a good place - but have no memories at all!
