We looked like a different side without that idiot.. Instantly looked a different outfit in attack and in defence

Give me some credit. I’m needy.

    And yes they are.

And Howe got it spot on today.

    He played 3 in midfield.

    Wood was poor mind.

I don’t mind conceding Lascelles defended very very well today. One swallow and all that though. Same for Clark.

I have to say mind, I think Willock is underrated. People get hung up on the goals thing, he’s an intelligent footballer.

First half he was average: 2nd half he put a good shift in.

It’s the positions he takes up for me. Even first half when Leeds were threatening, he’s clever how he goes about his business.

I can’t fault anyone. Well Wood wasn’t great. But we won and therefore as a team we did well.

If we could just add another quality CM and CB we will be absolutely fine.

True. He had some chances to keep the ball better. But overall he was ok.

I don’t know about that. Howe might have squeezed a win out of them today but the squad is poor and we shouldn’t forget that. We need at least 4 players to freshen us up and give Howe something to work with. I’d like a finisher on top of the minimum of one midfielder and one centre back. I’d still like two of each though, and to be honest we need another wide option as Fraser just isn’t all that threatening.

I’m sure he will score some important goals for us.

Joe might be out for a while. Shame.

The signings will come easier this week... The situation looks so much better.. Most fans said we were down a week ago.. Not at all.

I think Wood would make a good foil for Wilson if we want play two up at any stage. He does attract players like Mitro used to. It does create space.
