Switch off the TV mate it's not good for your mental health , you think I'm a Russian agent and you have been banging on about fighting in trenches and sinking ships now. Go back to yelling at people for not wearing masks and wanting tennis players locked up for not taking the jabs . You're acting hysterical.
Duncan, I was teasing you about the wrong date, and my joke about your being a snowflake was also meant as a joke with a bit of a barb (but not a nasty one) because you are always so harsh on SJWs and there you were being a bit snowflaky.
He's crazy enough to use them too. Think our only hope is if there's a coup, another protest in Russia again.
It would be great if someone in his own military would take him out. Then we would have to deal with whoever comes next. In this situation it's not a case of "better the devil you know than the one you don't".
The clock is now reading 11.59 approaching 12.00,apocalyptic time. This is now really, really serious.
I'm not worried about an apocalypse, but I know you are much closer to the situation than I am. And I understand you daughter-in-law may have family in Ukraine.
Daughter - in - laws family have now moved out of Lviv, and taken residence outside the city. Her father is very ill, and normally house bound, but her brother has a residence 10miles outside the city. Hopefully they are safe, and will not have to flee to Poland. Let's hope my worst fears do not come to fruition.
I think we're all praying that doesn't happen. The only way I see this ending though is Putin in a body bag.
MPs will get a £2,212 pay rise on 1 April, seeing an MP's basic salary go up to £84,144 a year. The 2.7% rise will come in the same week that millions of workers see their wages hit by a National Insurance increase. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer have both said MPs should not get a rise this year. But their pay is set by an independent body, which says it should be in line with other public sector workers. Well deserved
Personally, I don't really have a problem if they have a high salary. I would prefer them to be paid well, but to have a system where outside 'consultancies' are banned and if there is any hint of lobbying on their part, they are instantly thrown out of parliament and a by-election is called.
