Former England and Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been fined £8,000 after admitting breaking Football Association betting rules. Scholes was charged after it was alleged that he placed 140 bets on football matches between 17 August 2015 and 12 January 2019. Now, didn’t Joey Barton get a slightly more severe punishment for similar?

A 64-yr-old man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter by an unlawful act in connection with the death of Emiliano Sala.
First thought was one person who was in the news at the time, but could easily be someone actually involved with the plane itself. Never liked the idea that quite a few British planes are registered in the USA because standards are lower....I'd like to know in what area standards are lower. Look out for registration letters guys if you ever travel in small aircraft. Hint G = UK
If I was a betting man I would say that this person will not be the last arrested in connection with Sala and Ibbotson's tragic deaths.
