    Read about a couple of young England talents today, who both happen to have been signed by Barcelona (one is on the BBC Gossip page).

    Anyway, both of them have been 'poached' by England, having previously represented Ireland. However, they are both English-born. You just know it will be England who are portrayed negatively in this story, but for f*ck's sake, how come it's okay for Ireland (or anyone else for that matter), to try and steal teenagers away from their native-born countries? It's perfectly legal, but it is bloody annoying. The fact that we have to 'poach' our own players back from other countries is a joke. If they were in their mid-twenties and had been ignored by England their whole careers, I'd understand Ireland's anger. But the latest lad (Louie Barry), is only 15!!

    Be interesting to see what wage increases have happened in L1 & L2 in the last couple of years.
    Creeping up in relation to everything else I'd expect. Sunderland dropping down & Salford coming up will start to tilt the figures.

    Atletico are complaining they were short changed by Barcelona to the tune of 80m euros as they say the deal was negotiated in advance of his release clause dropping .

    It sounds like they might be trying to challenge this otherwise why say anything?

    Is it just me who has the world’s smallest violin out for them after the Toby situation. They clearly messed us around to benefit themselves so I have no sympathy (as much as certain people like to try and use that as a stick to beat Les Reed with)

    There will be no Juventus on Fifa 20 after they agreed a deal with Konami to be appear on PES 20. Instead Ronaldo and co will play for Piemonte Calcio. <laugh>

    Is this general knowledge? [I didn't know this] England is the only country in the world to win the Football, Rugby and Cricket World Cups.

    However, impressive as that may read, we might be one of on;t very few that compete in all three. The others being... err.

    Australia, New Zealand, umm...
