All culinary treats & recommendations for meals to go on this thread
This is a civilised way to spend a Thursday evening. For a mere £9 you get a pleasant meal, a pint, and a guaranteed trip to the bog after.
Ye Olde George Inne Shoreham is excellent, but unfortunately my local the Five Bells not so much. Seldom eat out though as we both enjoy cooking.
The "Good" food thread and we're posting pictures of food from spoons? Best places I've been to of recent-ish times was Tom Kerridge Bar & Grill, Restaurant Ramsay and Hixter. Locally to where I live I went to Oak on the Green in Bearstead. Only had a burger but was tasty. Fancied the Thai Green Curry but at 1:30pm thought that was a bit much. At the moment, I can swallow without pain, I can devour just about anything that is not soup or liquid format. My advice people, never get quinsy. One of my most painful experiences.
The Chelsfield used to be excellent until Andy the chef left to work somewhere in Petts Wood. Wish I knew where.
